🟢 Create Your Analysis Routine

Now that you’ve started to notice patterns, we need to become excellent question askers.

🔥
Asking your numbers questions helps you

✨ give your numbers context

✨ keep your analysis focused

✨ figure out your next steps

The million dollar question becomes: “How do I figure out what questions to ask?”

Let’s dig into it ⬇️

💡
When it comes to turning your goal into a question, my first advice is don’t over think it! It is probably as simple of a swap as you’re thinking! My next suggestion is to look back at your numbers. What numbers are you collecting? That will often help you identify the question you are ultimately wanting to answer.

Creating a question from your goal examples

‣
Goal 1: Book 5 spots in my group program each month.
  • What number are you tracking?
    • Group Program Signups
  • What is the overall question?
    • How many signups did I have for my group program?
‣
Additional questions you can ask:
  • Where are my signups coming from?
  • How many people did I send links to?
  • How many conversations was I having?
  • Where was I promoting this program?
‣
Goal 3: Improve conversion rate to 45% for all stages of my sales flow.
  • What number are you tracking?
    • Conversion rates for each part of my sales flow
  • What is the overall question?
    • What is the conversion rate for each step of my sales flow?
‣
Additional questions you can ask:
  • How are people finding my website / first step in the sales flow?
  • What is making people go through the sales flow or leave?
‣
Goal 2: Consistently earn $3,000 from my courses.
  • What number are you tracking?
    • Revenue from course sales
  • What is the overall question?
    • How much revenue did my courses bring in?
‣
Additional questions you can ask:
  • Where was I promoting these courses?
  • Is my marketing strategy effective?
  • How many leads did I have?
‣
Goal 4: Increase my follower count to 300.
  • What number are you tracking?
    • Followers on a social media platform
  • What is the overall question?
    • How many followers do I have?
‣
Additional questions you can ask:
  • What is causing the follows?
  • Who is following me? Are they my ideal client?
‣

🥾 Action Step (6 mins)

Write 1 - 3 questions you want to use to guide your analysis!

If you’re feeling stuck on coming up with questions, circle back to the Questions & Numbers resource from Module 1 🙂

  • Dig back into your goal, look at the numbers you are collecting, and write those questions!
  • Write them on a sticky note, add them to your spreadsheet or organizational structure, write them on a piece of paper, anywhere!

Drop your question(s) in Slack if you want to workshop them, or just to share what you’re planning on using!
